Fund in collaboration with the Central Bank organized a study visit to SDIF.

A joint delegation from the fund and the Central Bank led by the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank/ Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Fund visited the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF) of Türkiye to exchange opinions and experience in the area of deposit insurance. SDIF team led by board member Yusuf ÖKSÜZÖMER warmly welcomed the delegation and provided presentations on the topics of general deposit insurance, deposit payout, and resolution to familiarize the delegation with the SDIF system.  During the presentations, various discussions took place about the features of SDIF and FBOKF and the Banking industry in both countries, their similarities and differences, and potential areas of development for both sides. Both sides considered the study visit a success and expressed their willingness for potential joint projects in the future.
